Pastors:

Jason A. Cole (Associate Pastor)

Jason married his best friend Missy in July 2001 and they have been greatly blessed since with 4 wonderful children! He brings unique qualities and another servant’s heart to church leadership.  Jason was born and raised here in the Dartmouth area and started attending CHC’s youth group in the fall of 1994.  In July of 1996 at the age of 17, while he was at a public baptism, he realized at that moment that nothing else mattered if he was not right with God.  So he decided to start listening to God and trust Him with his life and was baptized immediately.

Jason has been involved in youth ministry ever since – first as part of the youth ministry team, then as the ministry head.  The youth ministry enjoyed continued growth until it was decided by the leadership of the church that a full time pastor was required and in March of 2006, Jason was offered the position and so resigned from his management position at a large construction firm to accept this amazing call to ministry!  Aside from his university training in business, Jason has worked on his professional Christian education since 2000 part time while he worked; and was ordained in May, 2009.  Jason now continues to work on his master’s degree (Mdiv).  His strength is helping people understand that God is real, His ways truly are wise and that by trusting Him, you will see Him in every day life.  When you encounter God, you will have peace and joy like you never thought possible – no matter the circumstance!

Marlo Boutilier (Children’s Pastor)

Marlo and her family are founding members of City Heights Church and she has been involved with the Childrens’ Ministry since the beginning. The first year she taught the 4-5 year old class and has worn many hats in the ministry as its leader, starting as Sunday School Superintendent and since 2003 has been on staff part-time as Children’s Ministries Co-Ordinator. One of Marlo’s greatest passions is to reach and teach kids for Christ offering biblical programs taught by loving teachers. It is a joy to watch God grow His kids up spiritually. It has been especially awesome for her to watch those children who have been in Kidz Club since the beginning have the Lord work in their lives and begin to develop their gifts for ministry. Marlo’s gifts are those of teaching, encouragement, leadership, discernment and administration.
