Welcome to City Heights Church! We are a family church with a casual and friendly atmosphere on the edge of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.†

Our Ushers and Greeters are always ready with a smile – and so is our congregation! We believe that every person has inherent value in God’s eyes and our desire is to provide a genuine atmosphere with great teaching to help every person begin and cultivate their relationship with Him and understand their purpose.

We have a unique style of worship.† Old favourites are jazzed up, and great contemporary pieces are introduced as our worship team leads us in praise and worship of our Heavenly Father.† You can’t help but tap your feet, and some won’t be able to hold back from dancing!

CHC was designed to be a church for people who do not normally go to church; because of this design, CHC is the first church that many of its members have ever attended. So come on in, you’re among friends!

What We Are Like

  • Sometimes we are loud, especially the Praise Band. If you like contemporary, upbeat music, then you will like what you hear.
  • We love children. Our nursery and Kidz Club programs are top notch – a result of having trusted professionals at the helm, your children won’t want to leave!
  • We love teens. Our youth ministry is innovative and inspiring. We do not see them as the church of tomorrow; we see them as the church of today, just younger! We give them the tools to grow and lead. Our youth ministry has had a broad impact and made the news numerous times because they believe that they can do great things now.
  • We like to learn. The messages are carefully crafted to help you understand the bible, God’s love for you and what He has in store for you in this life and in eternity.
